Fatma Mostafa

Białystok, Poland

I’m happy to be here. I spend
wonderful time with children
and learn new things.During
November, I went to Tourń for
on-arrival training. There, I
met other volunteers from
other countries. We learned
about the European Solidarity
Corps project and our
responsibilities during our
volunteering.

My name is Fatma; I am 22 years old. At the
beginning of November, I came to Poland to start my
voluntary project at Special Primary School 17.
Before traveling to Poland, I had a lot of
complicated steps to get my visa. My sending
organization, ” Jovesolides Egypt,” helped me a lot
to get my visa. After that, I started to take my
pre-departure training with my sending organization.

I spend my time with children playing, planning
different activities, and introducing the culture
and history of my country. Every week we have
different topics with fun games and exercises. We
also cooked some Egyptian desserts together, and
they loved it

Even though it has been only 2
months since I started this
project, I can already feel that
I have become more independent
and confident.I will always be
grateful to the European
Solidarity Corps for this amazing
opportunity.
